Katie Holmes spent Labor Day by taking Suri on a carousel ride in New York and playing in the park with other children and Breaking Celebrity News has the photos.

It was mother-daughter play day on Monday and Suri took full advantage, swinging on the swings and sliding down the slide — huge smile on her face the whole time.

Despite the controversy surrounding her father, Tom Cruise, being set up with a wife through the Church of Scientology in a new Vanity Fair blockbuster expose, little Suri didn't have a care in the world and was happy to be spending time with her mother and playing with other children.

Tom has went on to call the allegations a "lie," even though former Scientologist and director Paul Haggis confirmed the magazine article, and Katie hasn't yet publicly addressed it.
